Bay & Bow Windows
As with other JSS products, we can design, manufacture and install to any size, from small and cosy to large and expansive, according to your requirements and within the scope of building regulations and planning permission.
The curved shape of a bay or bow window can add character to a house’s otherwise plain exterior, especially at ground floor level, including bungalows. It could be the classic large window flanked by two smaller side windows; or could take the graceful form of four or more glazed panels, with smaller pains above which could be stained or glazed with features to match or complement a door.
The choice is yours. Internally, the installation of a bay or bow window allows more light into a room, creates a wonderful viewing area and even an area for a relaxing seat or eye-catching display. It is an aesthetically pleasing option where a traditional style can look great using modern materials.
With choices between tilt and turn, casement and flush casement windows, you can choose a style to suit your specific needs.
On the top of your bay window, you can choose from traditional scalloped lead, straight edged lead or even fibreglass.
